相信大家去泰国旅行除了会享用当地美食之外，必做的事情当然就是购物了吧？众所周知，泰国的商家最喜欢给塑胶袋了，小至夜市大至商场，不管买的东西是多还是少，都会提供塑胶袋，甚至是一瓶水而已都有可能给塑胶袋?? 但是最近泰国自然资源部及环境部（Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment，简称MNRE）就推出了环保政策，邀请了多间企业参加这个减少一次性塑胶袋运动。
据《Bangkok Post》报道，这一次的减少塑胶袋运动将会从明年1月1日起开始，届时将不再派发塑胶袋给顾客，而这次的活动受到了各大商家的支持，据说已有超过46间泰国百货商店和大型零售商参与在内，其中深受大家欢迎的The Mall Group （旗下商场有Siam Paragon、Emporium、EmQuartier等）、Big C Super Market、7-11便利店、Watson等等，都参与在内。所以明年去太够购物的时候，记得要自备购物袋哟！

据估计，泰国人每年使用450亿个一次性塑料袋。泰国环保部长表示通过这些零售巨头和百货公司的合作可以帮助减少30%的一次性塑料使用量，希望可以透过这次的减少塑胶袋运动可以帮助泰国摆脱全球主要垃圾和海洋生产者之名。与此同时，到2022年年初，和一次性塑料制品(包括轻质塑料袋、吸管和杯子)的禁令也将生效。
