然而，搭火车去新加坡是从新山去新加坡最快的交通选择。新柔长堤经常面对塞车问题，短短的路程可能要耗上一至两小时的车程，真的挺心塞的！若是你想要用最快的方式前往新加坡的话，从新山JB Sentral乘搭马来西亚铁道公司KTMB火车前往，只需5分钟车程就可以直达新加坡了。
如今，无需再大排长龙买车票了！来回新马的KTM“地不佬”接驳火车（KTM Tebrau Shuttle），从2019年10月7日起可接受网上订购车票，即省时又省力。
根据Railtravelstation.com网站报道指出，此项新票务系统似乎主要是提供给大马人使用，因为目前只能通过马来西亚的银行网上付款方式购买及缴付火车票。至目前为止，若没有持有大马银行的个人网上银行户口，如新加坡公民及其他国籍人士，是无法通过网上付费购买新山中环综合车站到新加坡兀兰的火车票。
当然，小编也相信KTM Berhad的新票务系统会越做越好，而Visa和MasterCard服务即将也要启动了。大家耐心等候一会儿啦！
自2015年7月1日启动起，来回新山中环综合车站与新加坡兀兰，是大马人及新加坡人非常喜欢的火车服务。毕竟一趟的费用也仅RM5（新山到新加坡），而且只需5分钟车程直达新加坡，快狠准啊！
