然而，万万没想到竟然有一天可以亲眼看到 汤玛士小火车 在轨道上的模样耶！ 位于日本静冈县岛田市的「大井川铁道」，将在2019年6月22日至12月1日这87天期间，让「汤玛士号」及「詹姆士号」于现实世界中复活，带着你一起奔驰在铁道之间，欣赏山野无限美景！
在这期间到到日本游玩的旅人可以安排一日游，坐上汤玛士和詹姆士的火车。它们将会奔驰在大井川本线的「新金谷站」及「千头站」之间，全长大约是是37.2公里的距离。
除了 汤玛士的火车 造型，车厢内也是充满了汤玛士可爱的布置，而现在乘车的时候，还可以加购超可爱的汤玛士限定便当，让你一整天都沉浸在汤玛士小火车世界中，圆了儿时的梦！
